CPA, CFE, Managing Shareholder
Simply put, Jim is a numbers man. He’s a master at identifying client’s needs and walking them through the complex calculations and ever-changing laws that influence tax compliance, business consulting, financial reporting, long-term strategizing, retirement planning, estate management, as well as everyday accounting and auditing.
Jim is the Managing Shareholder at Griffing & Company, P.C., a certified public accounting firm he founded in 1987. To use accounting terms, he balances his day dividing time between mentoring a dozen plus staff members and assisting hundreds in the community. Growing up in the Northeast, Jim’s passion for money management and accounting acumen was evident at a young age. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University and a Master of Science degree in taxation from Drexel University. He’s also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. Prior to founding Griffing & Company, P.C.s, he gained years of experience as a Regional Tax Partner with another prominent firm.
